Alan Michael Wong – Masseuse. I had a massage tonight from Alan, it was one of the best massages I've ever had. He is very knowledgable and has also studied the art of walking on your back (without his full weight of course). The back massage with feet is a superior treatment to a hand massage, sounds wired but it's not, it really goes deep into those large muscle groups. He is also trained in hot stones, he combined three different therapies in one session. Not many people are familiar with having your back walked on, I have had this done to me in Japan and Thailand that I can tell you it is the best massage you will ever have! Not many people in North America know how to do it and Alan is specially trained for this. If you have never tried it, you really should!
As an athlete who struggles with finding massage therapist who indeed do truly "deep" massages, I was very happy with pressure I got with Ashiatsu. I was also impressed with Mr.Wong's dedication to finding a solution when I came in with a shoulder injury, and the amount of different techniques (and machines) he knows in order to solve any ache. His knowledge of the human body is excellent. Thank you!
I have received many massages from different massage therapists and always left disappointed or in pain. So avoided getting any form of massages after that. Luckily Alan was able to convince me to try again and he I introduced to me Ashiatsu and hot stone. I became a true believer once again. He was able to relieved some of my pain that I've had for years. I highly recommend Alan to friends and family. He's got the magic touch.
Alan has been my massage therapist for 6+ years, with my condition I let no other touch me. I have Fibromyalgia & recently diagnosed withe Rheumatoid arthritis. When my body stiffens up I go see Al, for my hot stone special and with a good night's sleep, i'm good to go the next day?. I believe it's his dedication to his practise, his passion to heal others that makes him that good. I truly believe he has healing hands or in this case feet?...Thank you AL for keeping my pain managable.
A very descriptive review - (Stars edited - Weirdly enough this review was left by my friend before I even went). So many firsts for me - first massage from a guy (i'm a guy), first massage with feet, and first massage without candles etc etc. But let me tell you something, this was the BEST massage I've ever had. It was deep, my body feels like a feather, my shoulder injuries and pains are no longer existent. And Alan is a super interesting individual and teaches you a lot about what he's doing. His expertise is beyond anything you'll most likely experience and you'll feel it. I highly recommend if you actually want to feel better or fix something, rather than ambience and lots oil. I prefer this every time. He is definitely an expert at what he does. "I'll be back"
For years Alan Wong’s skills are mind blowing. I’ve traveled the world and have had countless massages but nothing will ever compare to his techniques and experience to not only relax but heal your body and injuries. He is the GURU of healing. Thank you Alan for your amazing service, kind hearted patience and it’s a MUST to go see Alan.
I'm a marathoner who's struggled with shin problems for the last few years. I literally just left my massage with Alan and I can already feel a big difference in my legs. He teaches you as he does his thing, so you'll learn a lot about his philosophy and your own body at the same time. Great!
I am shocked at the other reviews. He was very nice and warm however his "unconventional" techniques that he assured me would relieve my pain immediately completely tore my upper back apart. My neck and back pain came back about a week after seeing him MUCH worse in the areas he worked on and brought about new pain issues in my neck I never had before. I should've been more hesitant when he brought out the car buffer but he assured me it has worked magic for many of his clients (which may be the case but not for me) and would be amazing in treating my pain specifically. I am 20 years old and my back hurts all day every day... maybe conventional techniques are popular for a reason.
I've been to many massage therapists and this is the only place I'll be treating myself to from now on! I just had my first 90-minute massage with Alan and was very impressed with his knowledge, technique and professionalism. He was very in tune with my needs, using deep tissue techniques, he worked out all the knots and spasms I've been carrying around for so many years! He is an excellent communicator and made sure he understood my goals. I slept better than I have in a long while. My new normal is 90 minutes vs. 60. I highly recommend the extra 1/2 hour! Reasonably priced too.
