Don't risk it, shop somewhere else. I've lived a nightmare with this company. By far my worst purchasing experience ever. I've ordered an oven range. When I received it I was completing renovations, so I asked their deliverymen if I could inspect it at a later time so as to keep it safe in its box. They said that could be arranged and wrote this down on the delivery paper. A month later I open the box and the oven is heavily damaged and bent all over. I call CAS expecting a smooth resolution, because I've never dealt with a company with whom there would be an issue returning a completely destroyed product still in its box. I explain the situation and they could not have been less helpful. First I get two automated responses from the online tool declining my request, completely ignoring my message. Then I reach out to the customer service and got told that the best they can do is ask Whirlpool to fix it using the warranty, and if that doesn't work they'll change it for me. Whirlpool sends out a technician, who says the damage is not repairable and was caused during shipping or storage (too much weight on the oven). I call CAS and they don't even know how to access the technician's report. I had to call the technician and Whirlpool, figure out how CAS might be able to access that report, and call them back to teach them. That took over an hour of my time. The customer rep says she'll get back to me and never does. I couldn't ever get hold of her again from that day on. Had to start all over again with a new rep, which ALSO never got back to me. At that point I had to figure out the extension to reach the managers, and I got no answer there. Left a message, got a call back with an offer of a 100$ refund if I shut up and go. We're talking about a 1100$ oven here...Now mind you I don't have an oven yet. I'm eating frozen meals and take-out every day. This has been going on for THREE MONTHS. Can you IMAGINE living without an oven for 3 months?! I've spent hundreds of dollars on take-out. The stress this purchased has caused me is unbearable. I've surely spent close to 10 hours on the phone. It's so bad that, had I known it would be that way, it would've made perfectly rational sense to trash the garbage/oven they shipped me and literally buy another one. On their website they say they get cheaper prices because of their size. Truth is they get cheaper prices because they don't have any after-sale support. You think this won't happen to you but is the slight price difference really worth the roll of the dice? I thought it was and this was the most costly mistake I've ever made. I'm going to be reaching out to the Quebec Office for Consumers to see if they can help me recuperate my much needed 1100$. I hope this review saves some poor soul from the stress I've gone through. I could go on even longer (after spending 3 months dealing with their terrible customer service you accumulate a lot of anecdotes showing how bad it is) but this review is already way too long. I cannot generalize about all the salesmen, but the one that approached us today does not fulfill the criteria of customer service, nor sales. After showing us some models of the Samsung fridge, stove and dishwasher, I asked him if the company does price matches because 3 competitors had all three products as a combo for a good price for Black Friday. The salesman told me in a sarcastic tone to not waste my time and my gas and to go to those places and go make the purchase. Please do not tell your clients how to use their time, gas and money and instead, simply say that no we do not match the price. I came in on November 25th, at around 1PM.read more

This has been by far the worst appliance purchase I've ever had to deal with. My fridge died at the end of August, I have 2 special needs children and finicky eaters to boot so not being able to have the fresh food they need at hand was not a good option. The original fridge picked was not available for at least a week so a smaller one was settled on because it could be there by the last day of the month. (note it was labour day weekend after delivery) Waited all day for delivery (so be it) let the fridge rest several hours past the recommended few just to be sure... 24 hours later it was warmer in the fridge then outside. Holiday week end meant not open... but. The only bright spot from CAS in this was the pleasant customer service person Rebecca (very helpful and understanding). Bottom line, have to wait till they open, have no worries it is within delivery window for problems but... It's a Whirlpool fridge and no one but Whirlpool can help ya in the first year according to CAS. Whirlpool finally sets an appointment for a tech to come see what the problem is (he was also helpful but only working contract with Whirlpool) but that was not until the following week. Fridge is DOA and the tech lets me know the compressor is dead they will have to replace fridge. Whirlpool takes for ever to do things customer service takes 24 hours, another 48 minimum for returns/exchange department to review and get in touch with you... 2 weeks after delivery I am contacted and after letting them know I am thoroughly unhappy and want my money back they tell me no problem send copy of bill, and we will collect dead fridge and then process refund.Takes another week to get fridge removed by yet another transport company and now 7 weeks later I am still in limbo with still no fridge, no refund... living out of a mini fridge someone managed to lend me so that I can at least have milk, butter and some small items. I love KD and soup as much as the next person but I have spent hundreds of dollars on groceries I would not have needed to because I can't keep anything large cold.Save yourself the aggravation, don't buy any fridge under the whirlpool umbrella of brands and avoid buying here if this is hove helpful they are. I'll just go back to waiting on my refund, so I can buy a fridge some day...read more

Beware if you are purchasing a product from these guyz. The sales team doesn't know their own products, so don't make the mistake i made by listening to them. They were supposed to deliver the item on the 2nd but called me last second to tell me they needed to change it to the following Monday! We are expected to live without appliances for four extra days!!!! Whats even worst is that they delivered the product scratched which was noted by me and the delivery person (notes left on delivery confirmation). They asked me to fill the form which i did, after three weeks of no responses i called them to see what was going on they told me that they had responded to my email three weeks ago, however the email used was one from 2 years ago that was not active any more! the same email i told the salesman to change three times!!! even funnier is that in their email they state that they cant do anything about the scratch as it was not reported within 48 hours! are you serious this was noted on the delivery document and pictures were taken by the DELIVERY TEAM. I don't think they even read the requests they just decline them.They are referring me to the manufacturer for the scratch. I ended up buying something that didn't have all the features i wanted! Worst after-sale customer service possible. They delivered the wrong appliance and although they tell you to fill out a form over their website, which I did, and called at least 20 times and contacted the customer service, I never got a satisfying answer so I am stuck with the wrong machine. Very good choice of appliances and the showroom is very nice on Decarie, but again this is not enough, the after-sale service is a disaster and totally unacceptable. I went to buy washer dryer ensemble, and specifically told the agent (MM) I was then to renovate my whole kitchen... I will never buy there again.D Arbourread more

Service très mauvais. Ne pas faire affaire avec eux. J’ai acheté mes électros avec eux pour 4700$. Ils me garantissaient le meilleur prix et si je trouvais mieux qu’il allait me rembourser... j’ai passé plus de 5-6 jours à me faire raccrocher au nez par le magasin et par le service à la clientèle pour finalement me faire rembourser 466$ alors que j’avais trouvé 800$ moins cher. Après vérification je vois qu’ils m’ont simplement remboursé ma garantie prolongé + 100$ et qu’ils l’ont annulé... je ne ferais plus jamais affaire avec eux...read more

This is a nightmare we're living with this company.We wanted to buy a dishwasher and the salesman pushed us into buying one, a little bit more expensive than our budget, but as he said" best value' of the moment.Once at home, we discovered that there was an issue with this model. Just behind the door, there was a more higher part that made impossible its installation. We contacted their costumer service and OMG, you are treated like a stupid person.Their answer was basically' it was your fault'.We contacted their 'escalation team' and after giving them all our arguments and send them picture of the product which is new and back in his package, they accepted the exchange of the product, BUT with a penalty of 25% of the price. We contacted the store and they informed us that the dishwasher that we want is not available before one week.We can't wait for a week more without a dishwasher, cause meanwhile we are washing our dishes manually and the part of the sink which is conected to the dishwasher is leaking...No answer from them so far. Buying a new appliance is supposed to be fun, not a burden, not a big stressful experience.This company logo is that they treat each costumer as a family member... I mean really???? I wish I never entered their store. This is not the way you do business.read more

He is very knowledgeable and able to consult with no delay2. He helped me to make the right choice and now I am using both appliances bought with great pleasure3. He consulted me on the extended insurance and I am very satisfied with what I got because I was provided with all necessary info with no pressure.4. He explained well the delivery details, I knew what to expect. The delivery was fine, too. The fact that you can follow your delivery online in real time helps to plan the day more efficiently. 5. Finally, I pre-paid 25% long before the final purchase (I needed specific models of a fridge and a washing machine), he informed me I did not have to pay the whole sum at once.Generally, he is very professional and attentive to customers. We dealt with Guy Blain who was very knowledgeable about appliances.We bought a Bosch dishwasher and a Frigidaire freezer and are very satisfied with the price and the on time delivery. When we are looking for a another appliance we will go back to CAS.read more

I ordered my Stove from the Longueuil location and my Fridge from the Montreal location in early Juin, asking both if the items will be available by my moving date, the 30th of Juin. I get told that yes, they'll be available. I ask to get the fridge shipped to the Longueuil location to save me traffic and i get told that there'll be no problem and that it'll be shipped to Longueuil.I called on the 29th (Thank god I did) to ask about the status of my orders, I get told that I need to pick my fridge up in Montreal with no way to ship it to Longueuil and that my stove still hasn't arrived, that it'll be another week before they get it. I call on the 4th (the day they said it'd be available) and they say it's in laval and i won't be able to pick it up from Longueuil till next Monday.Not only are the sales reps unhelpful, when you call customer support, you have to wait 15-20 minutes before being sent to voicemail, and even if you do leave a voicemail, they never call you back.This is the reason of my 1 star review. I am thoroughly unimpressed by the customer service and the lack of any follow-ups and i STILL don't have my stove and must eat cold.read more

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher from CAS because of an online special. Still, I went to the store to discuss with a salesperson, who seemed great. He told me to remove my current dishwasher by removing the hoses and electrical wiring so that the delivery people would remove my old appliance when they delivered my new one. When the new dishwasher was delivered the delivery people wouldn't remove my old dishwasher because it wasn't listed on my sales invoice. They deliver for several appliance stores and told me that this is often a problem when they deliver for CAS.CAS is not helpful when you call customer service. The sales rep apologized on the phone (and admitted it was his mistake), but won't send someone to remove the old dishwasher. The money I saved was not worth the hassle.read more

Beware before you sign for your order, 25% of the total price on cancellation and no help from sales persons rather then showing you the customer service number.No matter how many thousands worth of appliances you buy, it is straight 25% fees on cancellation and extremely rude staff at Montreal office.They have mismatch between their advertised priced online and in-store prices and when you ask for those differences to sales person then they would raise their hands.On top if you dare to compare with other stores then it is your fault to step in to the store for shopping (That's what felt to me).I never recommend this store to anyone and be safe before you get into honeycomb of business of appliances.Points of Unsatisfaction- Hidden and higher shipping fees than advertised- 'Sugercoated' staff until you make a payment and signature- Mismatched between advertised sale price online and on your invoice when you purchase in store- No way of cancellation of order unless you pay huge price- If you get better Price for an equipment at competitor and show them then they would overlook it by saying that we compare only prices without promotional rebate.Regards!read more

Their advertising says they treat customers like family. Don'y buy it. Actually, don't buy anything form these people. I paid $99.00 + tax for delivery. When they got to my house (that was under construction) the workers had stepped out but were five minutes away. The driver left me a message that no one was home and they left, but used an unknown number so I couldn't call back and have someone open for them. After hours on the phone, Customer service charged me another $99 +tax. for delivery. They were arrogant and indifferent to the situation, and their attitude was basically, "That's your problem - we already have your money." Stay away from these family members!!!!read more

Never get fooled by its lower price like I did because they have nearly no after-sale service. I have bought a ventilation by 700$ on December, 2017, OH MY GOD, that's really my worst purchase experience ever. The sales person focused at only selling and has promised us everything will fit, but it is not TRUE, the worst is once you make a transaction of your deposit, you'll never going to get a refund or a exchange. They said that we couldn't because we'd taken it out of the box, if we didn't take it out how I can know it was not fit!!I WILL tell all my friends never choose them because their service is really awful.read more

The shopping experience was good. Mr. Mahmoodi is very knowledgeable. I felt a little bit of pressure but it was for my benefit because it was the last day of their sale. The only negative thing I can say is their delivery window I believe was between 8am and 5pm which is too wide a spread and that is why I only gave 4 stars.Oh yes, they have a nice choice of appliances.read more

First but not more impressive! Sales - Guy (and Laurence) are amazing! Everyone we spoke to at Canadian Appliance Montreal were SO nice! Patient, positive, helpful.. Including the woman who answered the phone! Even at 5 minutes before closing! These people are great to work with and their prices are equal to or better than everyone else out there! I checked!! *smile* Second - Customer service! SUMMER AHMAD IS AMAZING!! Yes... there was a problem with my delivery... BUT SHE TOTALLY ROCKED IT!! Not only did she make everything so easy and efficient AND TIMELY, she kept me apprised of the status, and was always so kind and professional. Don't get fooled by its 4.2-star review like I did. I should have read their RECENT reviews.The worst purchase experience ever. Bought a w/d, dish washer, ventilation and microwave on Nov 25, 2017. Made a phone call 6 times to get any delivery info, but didn't get any. The customer service people's attitude were awful. They kept saying 'It's ordered properly', or 'wait'.The condition of my purchase was to get the ventilation unit early in Jan as the installation was booked with my house builder. The sales person, Francois, said with assurance that it would arrive even in December. Did I? It's not easy to have a chance to talk to him. No answers, voice mails always. For E-mails, not even a single reply.The bottom line here is, once you make a transaction of your deposit, you'll never going to get a proper service and further info after that.Their strategy of 'the lowest price in Montreal' might work, but if I knew that I was going to suffer for this much time, I definitely would go with Best Buy or others. BTW, I bought a 60" TV from Best Buy and their service was wonderful even though it took more than a month. CAS, please learn. The key is not the time itself. Customers need to know what's going on for what they've paid for.(I WILL update my review here till I get the products. Which means, if you're still seeing this review, their service is STILL awful.)read more

Lots of products, lousy service in Montreal. Salespeople are focused on selling, and not advising clients on what they are buying. I bought a series of Frigidaire products, and the sales person conveniently did not tell me about the tornado of wind the stove puts out the front. Once I installed and ran the stove I went there and asked them to exchange it for a different model from them. The staff there made me run around requesting an exchange when they knew full well that it would be denied.I went through the hoops and the answer was "sorry, once used we do not exchange". I realize they are not Costco, but I was prepared to incur restocking and delivery charges (about $500). Sorry no exceptions to the rule. I can not believe that they will be in business for too long in Montreal with this approach by their sales staff. Beware of what you are buying there. Ask as many questions as you can, but make sure you research the products because the staff do not know much about what they sell.read more

Horrible after Sales Service. Delivery was held up over 2 months because of a partial back order. When I finally received my shipment, one of the items was damaged, delivery person tried to get me to sign that it was in good condition. I then contacted CAS to get replacement. I was told 10 days. Called after 3 days and was told that the item was in transit. Called another week later and was told that its still at the factory. Someone lied. Good luck trying to get to customer service. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.read more

Absolutely horrible experience!!!Have paid 50% deposit 40 days in advance for appliances' package.By due date order was not even scheduled for delivery as one item was still missing and nobody had even a courtesy to inform about it and to propose to deliver what they have in stock at the moment! I went in person to the shop and got incredible offer from Miguel, i.e. they will deliver partial order in 2 days if I pay balance for the whole order including expensive fridge which is still missing. I refused to do so and paid balance + 25% for the fridge deposit and got my delivery in 6 days only!!!Om my question about fridge delivery, - he said it will be delivered in 1.5 week for 100% and he will call me personally. Since that moment 15 days passed and I am still waiting for.... Nobody called me. Nobody replies on my follow-up messages. Status of delivery is unknown. 52 days passed from my order and initial payment.I hope my review will help somebody to not make a wrong choice of supplier like I have done!Thanks very much great Canadian Appliances for "your good service"!!!read more

Absolutely awful experience. Everything was fine in store, nice sales people, told them our measurements for a tight closet that is to become a laundry space, they were very assuring, everything will fit, will deliver and install . It was all very exciting! We were obviously first-time appliance buyers and felt reassured after purchase.Come delivery, installers came in and we wanted to double check everything would fit. They were not friendly, or helpful. Just there to do a job, and a lot of "that's not what I do attitude". They were certain it would fit and took everything out of the box. Come installation (which literally meant screwing a hose onto a tap, did not include dryer hook up - DO NOT PAY FOR THIS SERVICE), they did the very little they were apparently supposed to do. Our tap was leaking a little so they didn't put the dryer in place, and told us that when fixed, we should LIFT THE DRYER OVER THE WASHER to get it into the closet. Fine. After they left, we measured the space and realized that Washer and Dryer in fact DO NOT fit in space. I'll have to remove the closet doors in order to be able to open the dryer door. Not happy with this level of service, we went in-store to complain. Customer service told us they'd refund service charge, then came back and said "well, we have pictures that the hoses were hooked up, so we can't refund". To add further insult, when we asked about exchanging the unused product because it didn't fit after being reassured by sales, delivery and installers that it would, they said that we couldn't because we'd taken it out of the box. WHICH THEY DID!As I said, we were first-time buyers and expecting a complete service here. At no time up-front were we told about not being able to refund/exchange, that the dyer install wasn't included, or anything else like that. Instead of helping me out, their response, was "Sorry, read the fine print". I understand I am to take some blame here, but feel very ripped off and sour about the whole experience. Am now left with a dryer in my living room, and an empty hall closet. Very disappointed and WOULD NOT recommend this service.read more

Too good to be true? Unfortunately, that was my CAS experience. Gilles the salesperson was nice and gave me a great deal on an LG TV about a month ago. He said it would take a couple of weeks to deliver. In week three, there was no word from them, so I called Gilles and left a message. Sent him email as well. Called back again the next day and he wasn’t there. Called the following day, he was out, so I asked if someone else could help. Someone in customer service said they would look into it and call me back. Three days later, no word. I called again to ask what the status was and they said they were still looking into it and would call me back. To their credit, they did call me back two days later (today) to try to talk me into ordering a different TV. Evidently, LG is not selling them TVs anymore. Hope they enjoyed use of my money, and praying that they refund me.read more
