They were great. I had a last minute move and called Paul and they really pulled out the stops to get me a crew.I had been warned that when companies offer last Minute crews they often send inexperienced workers.I've also lived that myself with some of the big namesOn this, my 14th lifetime move, it was a dream.Guys were fast, clean, polite and knew their stuff.They got it done faster than the estimate and I'm nothing but satisfied.Now if only I can get the darn jingle out of my head!!!!read more

Great service! This was our first experience hiring movers and we are incredibly happy with the whole process and employees. They visited our place before the move for a quote and final cost didn't go over. The movers were professional, friendly and worked efficiently. These guys are just awesome! Friendly, efficient and very professional. They handled our personal belongings with such care and even with the difficulty of the large furniture they moved everything without any damages. The most unstressful move ever, and were very helpful with any concerns we had. Recommend for sure and will use their services again without hesitation. Great prices too. Thanks very much!read more

Overall, the team involved with our intra-city move (both the packers that came the day before the move and the movers that came on the day) were professional, helpful, and were very patient with the horrible management of our building who did not properly honor the reservation we had made of a freight elevator and loading dock. The packing and move was completed competently and efficiently.The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the crew could have been a bit more careful on the delivery of our move to our new home. We've had to file a claim for a damaged sofa leg, and we were fortunate that we were able to get our contractor to fix a few other issues (scuff marks/damage on walls, a broken window latch, etc.) that were also the result of the move.All in all, a relatively successful move - this now our third time using Meldrum The Mover (two international moves and this one), and we've been happy overall with the service.Best,Brettread more

Contacted them 2 weeks before our moving date, Sergio came to provide a quote the next day. Moving day: Came on time, movers super friendly and moved everything without any issues. Move completed within the quoted time. Would highly recommend. Very happy with the overall experience.read more

You won't go wrong with Meldum, the moving is a beast. Movers are professional and effective, they made everything right, load, unload and put every piece in correct order. I was glad to have them did my moving.The only drawback is they charged 2 hours on commute, 1 hour for get to my house and 1 hour for back to there location, for me it's bit too much, otherwise I will give them 5 stars.read more

I am very satisfied with Meldrum, my move went smoothly from start to finish. Kathleen was in charge of giving me the estimate and I dealt with her until moving day she was so helpful and available. The actual movers were on time, friendly and professional. The final amount was the same as my estimate. Great overall service!read more

The Meldrum team was phenomenal from start to finish. They were so professional and friendly, answering all my questions and concerns. I do not understand why it takes FOUR MONTHS for a claim to be looked at. Damaged my furniture and still have had no answer back or anyone even address my concern.

Beware of who your moving crew is with Meldrum! While I was happy with the sales rep who booked the move (which was WHY I booked with them), once the moving crew came to load the truck, everything went downhill. Meldrum assigned a crew of 4 to do a move to a 2 bedroom apartment, and these 4 guys managed to take 9 hours, including 1 hour at time & a half!!!! to move my stuff, which was all packed, labelled and waiting to go. No appliances, everything organized including a reserved elevator 10 paces from my apartment door, yet somehow these guys wasted enough time to cost me hundreds of extra dollars. Guys coming up empty handed in the elevator, no scissors to cut tape that held the packing blankets (which they pulled, yanked, stretched, hacked away at with house keys dozens of times), almost throwing away the power cord for the tv, dumping heavy boxes onto fragile, bringing bigger items in too early and placing them in such a way that they needed to move them again and again. For goodness sakes, they could barely back the truck into my empty 4 car driveway to load! Clearly Meldrum hires people with little experience, no team or leadership abilities and no consideration for the client. Beware.read more

Meldrum has been so accommodating with us. They moved us out of our condo and are keeping our furniture in storage while we wait for renovations to be done on our house. We have had to change the move in date several times and they have been so nice every time we have dealt with them on the phone. Very understanding. Every time you call you speak to someone knowledgeable and helpful. The movers who did our move were so nice also. Happy with their customer service!read more

Just had a fantastic move with Meldrum from NDG in Montreal to Newmarket, Ontario. The crew that moved me from Montreal was experienced, incredibly efficient and kind. The driver did a fantastic job of packing my prints and some sentimental artwork. The guys completed the job in record time and were incredibly respectful. The unloading at my new place went just as well, despite the fact that only two men were here. They brought everything in excellent shape, set up what was needed and were very clean in the process. The care shown was exceptional as was the professionalism of the movers. I cannot recommend them highly enough.read more

Good movers. They are rather quick and efficient in transporting, packing and loading. The administrative stuff is great! A representative was very helpful in finding the time that suited me and reminded me of many small things that were required for the move. read more
