This week when my garage door opener stopped working and I remembered having used Solutions Garage Door in the past. I contacted Moe at Solutions and without hesitation nor pressure offered me several options. I made my choice, and Matthew the technician arrived to install, just intime b fore the expected snow storm! The installation went very well, and Matthew was very neat and professional. He took away the old unit and left the place like new. I would recommend Solutions Garage Doors anytime. Call and ask for Moe. He will take care of all of your needs.read more

Solution Garage deserves a 5 star rating all around. The service from initial quote to installation was exceptional, something very rare to see these days. William was right on time, very friendly and explained everything he would do, quoting me a price before he started. He fixed what I knew needed to be fixed, found and fixed some other small issues (including the cost in the quote) and didn't oversell me, explaining that some springs i wanted to replace didn't need to be. He took the time to explain some maintenance tips and show me some work I could do myself to save me some money. These guys would definitely be my first call for anything garage-related.read more

Garage Solutions replaced our garage door & their service was exceptional. The door is very high quality. It was installed quickly & the workmanship was the best. Excellent customer service both from Moe and William. Very much willing to help to find the best solution. Moe directed me to call the Garage door open manufacturer to obtain a new motherboard for Free. Without this insight would have had to pay $300+ repair costs. Haven't had the opportunity to see their results, but getting a quote has been a bit of a challenge. They don't do it over the phone, and want to meet at my residence during regular business hours, when I'm normally at work. Not sure what they want to look at as is a second garage door addition to an existing garage, and I won't cut and frame a hole my existing garage until I sign someone up to come fill the hole with a door. Stuck in a quasi catch 22 I guess unless I take a day of vacation. I'll probably end up having to take the day of vacation anyway and use the time to pick up and install a door from home depot, or maybe go with one of the others who was willing to give a quote over the phone.**Edit** The team reached out and was able to quote by email. We had our garage door installed by William and Brent. The guys did a great job. I like the fact that they took their time to explain how to use, to program and to maintain the door. Also, the guys took away our old door and cleaned up. Very happy with the garage door. It opens so quietly that we couldn't even hear it in the house. Great service. We hired Solution Garage Doors through Costco. We needed a new garage door and opener. They were professional and courteous; came when they were supposed to; had a great price for the quality of door and opener; William installed them with no hassles; got rid of our old, warped door that came with the house; couldn't do the aluminum capping in the dead of winter, but came back to do it on the first warm day in February. The new door looks great and it opens so quietly we can't even hear it from inside the house. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone.read more

This was my first service call with Garage Door Solutions. I needed to have a broken spring fixed. The technician was prompt, polite, reviewed several options suitable for my specific door installation. The service call includes a maintenance, and William adjusted my door in order to have a tighter seal. He also showed me where and how to lubricate the hardware to maintain a door that opens smoothly.No big surprises in the final invoice except for a small upcharge for the cast iron pullies ; They seem significantly better vs the original hardware.read more

One of my torsion springs broke, I called Garage door Solution and the employees Nick and Nicko were very courteous, they gave me an appointment for the next day in the morning. The technician (Robert) came and fixed the spring temporarily, took measurements and ordered two springs as I wanted both to be changed. Very good service.Two days later the technicians William and Elior came and did a very good job, they changed the springs and the torsion cables, checked if all was working well . This morning Solution installed a Lift Master 8550 garage door opener at my Laval home.The service was rapid and on time. The cost was reasonable and one of the lowest price on the market. I found the services provided by Solution garage door excellent. They replaced my old wooden garage door with not only a new very well insulated secure door with opener, but they removed and completely replaced all of the rails and springs etc. William who installed the new door and opener is very professional and have all my questions answered. A door opener was recommended to meet our requirements and installation was scheduled in a timely manner. The technician Scott was courteous and professional. Very disappointed! Paid for a service call. Was told they would order the part I needed for my garage door. So I waited....and waited....It took the company over two weeks to come back to me and tell me the part could not be found. Please. Are you telling me this could not be discovered in one day? So I am back to where I started. I will not be going back there. given the poor service. I will find another company and I suggest you do the same.read more

In the event you you need service or repair, for your Garage door, don't hesitate to call, Solution garage doors. As a consumer and customer, I can tell you they are top notch. Extremely friendly customer service, knowledgeable, and completely transparent. They tell you up front, the cost of the service call. They ask you to advise them, what you believe is the actual problem. Before they confirm your scheduled appointment, they will ask you to try these basic solutions, to resolve your problem. If they fix your problem over the phone/email, they have just saved you valuable time and money. Its a rarity today, to see a business operate with such integrity. They are not trying to make a quick buck, or sell you something inferior, that you really don't need.read more

Called to get my springs replaced (one snapped). Was able to get an appointment within a few days, and Robert did an amazing job! He explained step by step what needed to be done, gave recommendations on how to properly maintain, was polite and courteous, finished the job in a timely fashion, and the end result was brand new springs, lubed parts, and a garage door opener (more than 15 years old) that sounded better than ever.
