If I could give a quarter of one star, that would be generous. I had a squirrel problem in my kitchen roof and called several companies before I called Skedaddle. No one else was available for days but these guys could be here in 20 mins. Wow!!! Or so I thought..... Two guys showed up and we chatted for a few minutes. Then, they must have spent 45 minutes measuring my property with tape lines and measures. They came inside and presented me with a $1,600 estimate to weather proof my property with caulking. They were even willing to do the work on the spot! They, however, could not give me a work guarantee because I have a common wall with my neighbour. So, $1,600 to remove a squirrel with no guarantee it could be done. I deliberated. That night, the squirrel was back. This morning I did a tour of my deck and found a 13cm x 19cm hole under a built in planter box on my deck where the previous owner forgot to close it up. It is right in line with the basement wall where the squirrels were. I blocked the hole with a spare deck board I had and used 6 deck screws. Cost? About $5 vs the $1,600 quote to caulk my home which really didn’t need to be caulked. If an exterminator is available on 20 mins notice and isn’t busy, there is a reason why......read more

I had a problem with bats and called Skedaddle because they have been in the extermination business for many years. Chris came to my home for an inspection and explained what had to be done. I found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. Anthony and David came to do the work and they answered any questions I had. Terrible experience. I was sent the DDO division. During the paid inspection I had to argue with him to go up and check in attic. When they came to do work they kept saying more on more things could be the cause of my problem and over 1k later it wasn't solved and they had to come back to solve again (and clean up the garabge the first team left in the attic)...read more

Not only did I agree to a price gouging quote to remove a family of squirrels from underneath a terrace, my husband and I each took a day off work to wait for the technicians. When no one showed, they apologized that the appointment was somehow miscommunicated at their end and that no one would be coming. They offered to re-book 4 days later, entailing is to take more time off from work. Absolutely ridiculous!!read more

Excellent Service from start to finish. The Customer Service answered all the initial questions about their services/products and was always very courteous and professional. Alex Boyer did a thorough survey and adequately explained what needed to be done to humanely get rid of the mice from the walls of our house and prevent it from getting back inside. He was available for questions before a final decision was made and always promptly returned our phone calls. The whole procedure was effective and the work he did with Sean was very professional. Other neighbors from my street had already used Skedaddle and they recommended them to us and so do we. Although we hope to never have to use their services again :) :) we definitely recommend them to get rid of mice or squirrel and secure your home from future unwanted "visits".read more

I could not be more pleased with any aspect of this service. From the booking of an appointment, to the initial consultation, to the service people who came to my home to do the work and follow-up, everyone was so professional and kind. Skedaddle humanely turned the incredibly stressful situation of a squirrel infestation in my ceiling into a non-issue, for the exact price they quoted me in the estimate. There were no surprises. The staff exceeded every expectation I could have had. I didn't want to go with a traditional exterminator who might just throw some poison around or trap the animal and then release it to find its way back in. Skedaddle secured my home and put in a one-way door so that the squirrels could leave and not return. Worth every penny.read more

Had a very invasive squirrel problem , and was suggested to try skedaddle by a friend. They were quick to arrive and worked in freezing conditions , to plug all the holes . The squirrels were gone for about 2 months and have now returned . The company returned within days of my call and is now busy plugging new holes .The service is professional , humane and everything is explained in detail . It has been 5 weeks since Skedaddle came and ealt with my racoon issue in my attic. 5 weeks and not a peep, so I can safely assume the problem is solved. The use of the one-way doors to the roof access points was a great solution. I must also write that both my inspection day and work day had brutal weather. I would not have been surprised, nor upset, if they had to cancel, but they came anyway and did great work. They communicated the end to end process very well and all in all it was a totally professional encounter. I would not hesitate to recommend Skedaddle.read more

We had a squirrel stuck in our fireplace. Once we called Skedaddle they came the very next day and were right on time. The technicians were super nice and took care of the animal as best as they could. Once the squirrel was caught, they released him. The entire experience while dealing with them on the phone was very professional and caring. I would reccommend calling them with animal animal issue. They were excellent!read more

Very Professional and affordable! Clean work and on time.we had a bird's nest in our dryer vent on the side of our house.Anthony and Sebastien were excellent. They came the very next day, and cleaned and sealed it.As well, we asked them to look at our other vents that were not sealed,in order to avoid future problems.They did the work the same day without any hesitation.Great service! I was horrified when I discovered bats were in my attic. Two of them made their way into my living space which only made me more apprehensive. I was impressed by the quick response from Skedaddle ( love the name) . Alex came out first and spent a whole day inspecting, explaining, doing a lot of impressive work. Next, Anthony came out a few days later to continue the work. They will install doors to allow the bats to leave but not able to return. After all this I also had them mouse proof as well. What nice young men. Friendly, courteous, informative and most of all reassuring. They will return at various stages to complete the process. I was told to call any time I had questions or concerns.read more

Anthony from Skeddadle provided Excellent service and attention to detail. He placed one way doors that removed Family of squirrels from attic , then came back after they had gone and closed the entrance hole the squirrels had made to attic.In a previous problem Chris had removed bats by sealing bat entrances to home and using one way bat exits.Never had a problem with bats since and now squirrels are gone and no animals were hurt.read more
